I am an experienced Technology Leader with focus on building and leading strong engineering teams, lead by example and help the engineering teams to learn and grow together to solve client problems with technical solutions.

 

My expertise is on the Data Center, Enterprise Networks, Security and Multi-Cloud solutions with experience in design and implementation of highly redundant and reliable solutions for customers of all sizes. Extensive understanding and experience in deploying Cisco SD-WAN, SDA and DCI – Data Center Interconnect solutions like OTV, VXLAN MPBGP EVPN based solutions for large scale Data Centers.

Hands on experience with all stages of network engineering development efforts, including requirements definition, topology design, procurement, data-flow architecture, implementation, testing, and support.

A well-established history of working on latest technologies closely with Cisco and other leading vendors.

• 2006 onwards: 

o Catalyst Data Center and Campus installs. Migrated several customers from windows-based

Cisco Voice/Collaboration customers to Linux based UCOS Call Manager and Voice Mail Solutions.

o 2008 - AWS EC2 Instances deployment, Amazon S3 Storage, AWS Start-Up challenge.

o VMware GSX, ESX and Workstation Implementations

• 2009 onwards: 

o Worked on UCS and Nexus enablement trainings for Cisco partners, one of first engineers

to be certified as UC on UCS specialist. Projects and Training solutions also included

migrations from Cisco MCS (HP and IBM servers rebranded as Cisco MCS) to Cisco UCS servers.

o VMware ESX, vCenter, Cisco Nexus 1000v

o AWS EC2 Windows Servers, AWS MFA Deployment

o Riverbed WAN Optimization – StealHead Appliances, Deployment and Training

o Cisco ASA, Deployment and Training

• 2012 onwards: 

o Worked on several enablement and installs of Cisco – NetApp – VMware FlexPod solutions

o Cisco Prime LMS – LAN Management Solution: TrustSec and EnergyWise (Cisco’s solution

for Energy Management of IT and OT Devices, which formed the foundations of IoT

solutions)

o Cisco Prime NAM – Network Analysis Module: Application and Performance Visibility

o Cisco Prime Assurance Manager: Real-time Application-aware network performance and visibility

o Cisco Prime LMS, NAM and Assurance Solution paved the path for Software Defined Access and DNA Architecture evolutions.

o Riverbed WAN Optimization – StealHead Appliances, Deployment and Training

• 2014 onwards: 

o One of the first ACI Installs, migrated several customers from Catalyst/NXOS Data Center switching

o Jan 2015: Cisco Enterprise ACI – APIC Enterprise Module, the foundation of Cisco DNA Center and campus fabric infrastructures.
